Default What are your favorite appearance mods?

I am in the process of changing some of the interior pieces to the original GM parts that are black leather with red stitching. I currently have the 2012 wheel. I have the shift **** and shift boot on order. It really makes for a nice look. I've only had my C6 for a few weeks so I haven't done much yet. Until this process is complete, I will have to say my favorite mod was changing all the incandescent bulbs in the interior, reverse lights, and license plate bulbs to LEDs. Really gives the car a more modern look.

I was thinking about other appearance mods when I finish this. I thought this would be a great idea for a thread. What are your favorite mods you guys have done appearance wise on your C6? Pictures would be great as well! I will add some to this post later.

Don't have pictures on my phone, but when I bought mine, the dash trim was done in carbon fiber. Not sure if it was wrapped or if it a whole new CF piece. Also, where'd you find the LED's for your interior lights?

Mostly on eBay and Amazon. I can send you some direct links if you would like via PM.

Did all of my interior lights too from an online vendor superbrightleds. Another cosmetic, but functional change is the shifter. I went old school. I grew up on Hurst shifters with the cueballs.

Gap filler adds a little more color to the dash and doors:

Not an appearance nod but the MGW shifter was one of the mods I liked the most since I actually use it every time I drive.

This is something I definitely want to do at some point. I think the rattle issue is now resolved with the lower billet box, right?

If you buy a new MGW shifter it has a new lower box.

I had an older MGW that did not have the lower box and it was good.

I upgraded to the newer MGW that had a new lower box. This newer one is GREAT. No rattle at all and smooth, precise shifts.

I love it.

the wheels totally transformed the car but thats $$. i think the side skirts make a very noticeable difference probably one of my favorite mods, then the front splitter, and for a cheap/easy mod i blacked out the fog and side markers and i really like it.

the hood looks good but i could take it or leave it i think. i havent done any interior work yet. d steering wheel and seats are in the winter plans.

My favorite interior mods would be the carbon fiber look center stack trim, Lloyde's floor mats, and color matched Corvette dash letters. Exterior favorites are my C6 Z06 black gloss wheels, painted calipers, and drilled rotors! I just had the car professionally detailed too, so I guess that could be a favorite. It really made the color pop!

Having the calipers powder coated atomic orange to match the car is my favorite mod.
