Headers & NPP

Are the aftermarket headers such as Kooks and Stainless Works the same for a C6 base and a C6Z?

Also, car arrives today and wondering how I check to see if it's an NPP car? It's an '09 1LE so I have a feeling it doesn't, but wanted to find out the easiest way to check.

If you see valves in the exhaust it probably has NPP. No valves = no NPP.

If you know what you're looking at that's the fastest and easiest. If not, look at the sticker inside the glove box.

Sorry for pic quality, but as you can see (if you look hard) the (NPP) on label. Located on glove box inside left near fob slot.

You mean an 09 1 LT, no LE. 1LT has least amount of options, with 4 LT being most. (4 was not offered in all years). And no, headers are not the same for base car and Z06. Base car has 2 1/2" exhaust, Z06 has 3".

Headers are the same but the crossover pipes and cats are different, my headers are LG Super pros that go into a 3 inch crossover pipe and high flow cats that neck down to a 2 1/2 inch pipe to my NPP mufflers .... ZO6 are 3inch pipes that go into 3 inch bi mode mufflers but .... they also neck down to 2 1/2 just before they enter the mufflers

Great info, thanks. I'd like to get headers on my GS someday. I have NPP.

Interesting that the Z06 3" necks down to 2 1/2", IMO that is ridiculous, may as well just be 2 1/2".
