When I push the TC button nothing happens, no display, no action. I push the button when the car is in motion. When starting the car it goes through the system check and shows all is good. The car has 10,000 miles on it and does not show any service soon messages. I wonder if I should turn the TC off before I drive off.
You should not turn the TC off before driving. READ the owners manual. TC is there to help you, not hurt you, in normal driving. Please read the owners manual to better understand how and when to use TC, and other "nannies" your car has. Thank you.
Read the owners manual. Only takes a few minutes and will explain how to "push" the button and when to "push" the button. I'm sure that's not what you want to hear, but its easier to read it than for me to explain it here. Sorry. If you don't have an owners manual, they are available online.

Thanks Buddy
If you're not seeing anything on the DIC when you push the button while the car is running it's possible that the wire is not plugged into the button. You'll have to pull the center console to get to it to check.
Thank you for your input but I took Reggie's advise and re-read the manual. Apparently you're supposed to hold the button until a display is shown. I was just tapping the button. I haven't tried it yet but I will. I'm not an experienced driver so I won't be driving with the TC off
Bud
Tried mine earlier today and it seemed to cycle through the setting fairly quickly without having to hold the button down. Are you pressing it down all the way? Hopefully it's just something stupid like that and it's working properly. Good luck.
