Edit: I was missing the point at first. I can't remember if it tilts in towards the diff or out towards the rear of the car. I think some of us were thinking that the others posting about the installation were telling you to turn it upside down. My photo doesn't really give us much to go on. I'll check when I get home tonight.

Jkirk your sway bar is correct, if you look at his pic again you can see his swaybar is angled away from the support frame. if he takes it off and flip it around it will look just like Jkirk.
the angle of the swaybar looks like it may be off:
it seems like there might be an endlink installation issue
if for whatever reason the endlinks and bar are set correctly (but still contacting the diffuser), you can use universal sway bar bushings/brackets from energy suspension to move the bar upward (this will require a bit of massaging to the mount holes in the energy brackets but it can gain some clearance)
*you may want to go to adjustable endlinks if you havent already done so
energy bushings and brackets along with the specs so you can compare measurements:

to see if its off Id have to see the endlinks - heres a link to pfadts swaybar isntallation guide - it will give you an idea of the orientation of everything: http://www.pfadtracing.com/blog/wp-c...structions.pdf
basically the bar should be parallel to the frame and control arm mount tabs that connect to the endlinks:

Yep, looked under last night and it is just as you described. His sway bar needs to be spun around.
c6z51man did you ever figure out what was wrong? and did you get it straight?
I had my wheels off today adjusting my e brakes and noticed my sway bar was on exactly like yours so I feel I may have given you some bad advise, my apologies. I would really like to know if you got it to fit and what you ended up having to do.
So, I got the diffuser on. I took off the sway bar for the install. Im not sure what you guys who said the sway bar was on wrong, but it was NOT. As you can see in the pic how close the diffuser is to where the sway bar would be and I already trimmed ~3in off. I held up the sway bar and it was still touching slightly. Diffuser was not an easy install few gaps towards the ends....
Holy crap, it looks like you cut half the diffuser off. how does it mount underneath now that you cut so much off? As I said in a earlier post I realized your sway bar was on right when I pulled the wheels off mine to adjust the E brakes, and saw mine were mounted exactly the same as yours. Improper airflow would have to be a concern now that you cut so much off. It does look good though.
Am I missing something? Where are your back-up lights? Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they legally required?
You are correct they are required and i do have them under there. There are two 4" wide aluminum blocks one on each side that have 4 extremely bright LED lights in each of them. These are so much brighter than any OEM reverse lights could possibly put out. I'll try to get a better pic of them to show you.

I cut about 3inches off, I had no choice it was hitting the sway bar bolt and still is a tight fit, idk what going on with this diffuser maybe just a bad one who knows. Idk how I'm going to mount it gonna have to be some custom thing. Can you guys with this diffuser take a pic of how close it comes to sway bar bolts to maybe see what's going on with mine... thanks
Should not hit any sway bar bolts, still sounds like something may have been wrong with your sway bar setup. Maybe aftermarket longer bolts, etc? Three inches is a lot to cut off, but not the end of the world. These are not fully functional unless you have a belly pan across the entire bottom, similar to a Ferrari.
"A diffuser, in an automotive context, is a shaped section of the car underbody which ... where a diffuser is usually located. It works by accelerating the velocity of the airflow underneath the car."
Supervettes: from my picture with the sway bar off what do you think is the problem?? See how close the diffuser is with no sway bar and 3in cut off??
