I cut about 3inches off, I had no choice it was hitting the sway bar bolt and still is a tight fit, idk what going on with this diffuser maybe just a bad one who knows. Idk how I'm going to mount it gonna have to be some custom thing. Can you guys with this diffuser take a pic of how close it comes to sway bar bolts to maybe see what's going on with mine... thanks
you can't just put shorter bolts in, they stick out so far?
it looks like you're trying to pull the bottom of the diffuser up too far. The flat bottom (side sections) should be parallel to the floor, looks like they will slant upward if you are attempting to pull it up too high? The bottom of the diffuser should have touched the bottom of the sway bar as it was shipped. As mentioned earlier, you can tie it to the sway bar, with industrial strength ties to avoid flapping from the air flow, or trim tat section out, but I wouldn't recommend trimming as much as you did. From this point, I would make some L-brackets out of steel strip (you can pick some up at Home Depot), and bolt the long end to the diffuser, and the shorter side of the "L" to the cross member.
I understand what your saying but basically when the diffuser clipped in from the front and screwed in from the sides that's where it was left to hang. If I placed the diffuser from bottom away from sway bar bolts it would not connect from front or sides.... idk would you be willing to ship another one. Don't know what else that can be done? Obviously it fits or doesn't. Base,z06 and zr1 doesn't matter right? I do have the base z51...
Thanks
Little update went to install my johnny o'connell rear sway bar and this did not help my situation with this diffuser. Now since it's thicker the diffuser is hitting the sway bar so now I would have to trim more for it to fit. What a headache this is turning out to be. Is this diffuser not supposed to fit with aftermarket sway bars???
Man I'm sorry to hear your having such a hard time with this, I have the Hotchkis sway bars and they are also thicker than stock, but no problems with diffuser installation.
I really hope you get this sorted out because that is a great looking diffuser. I even like yours better then my own lol.

I need pic with guys with the 2 tip. 4 tip is obviously shaped differently around sway bar area compared to 2 tip. Will be calling SV tomorrow. Getting tired of this
