For a casino, I like the Red Rock best.

For a stay I like Paris the best. Love that french bakery in the morning. Reminds me of the real Paris, and garage is safe/fine... and I've had far more expensive cars than a Vette parked in that garage over the weekend. Bellagio second.

There's plenty of Lambos, Ferraris, Porsches, etc in Vegas every day, so Vettes don't really stand out. Besides Vettes aren't too easy to steal, so thieves look for easier cars.

By the time you made it down the strip once in all that traffic, your weekend will be over.

What kinda city does "she" think this is?
Not 100% percent on how to take this statement. My gf and I are moving to LV in July, and we both have Corvettes. She daily's her C6 though, mine is more modified and "exhibition'ish" if you like. I realize theft happens in all cities...and both our cars are 6spd, so I assume that deters some types.

Just trying to be clear. Are you being serious that you don't drive yours anywhere?

I took my 06 DSOM base to Vegas from San Diego at the end of March. Got stuck in 60+ miles of strong sandstorms north of Baker. $8500 of damage to paint, lights, and windshield. Luckily, USAA took good care of me, and the car is looking great again.

Next time, I'll take another car, or rent one.

It was meant as sarcastic. If it was that bad here I wouldn't even have a Corvette. You will love it here as long as you are west of the strip. North/east of the strip can be a bit rough.

There are so many things I could say, all of them negative and demeaning. I don't know where you live, but please do let us know so that we can cast aspersions on your home town.

I live in Vegas, I drive my car everywhere, often with the top off. I even park with the top off while at WM. There are probably 5 times as many Corvettes per capita in Las Vegas than where you live. Las Vegas resorts have the highest level of security in the nation. Nobody with a brain f's with anything at a major LV resort. Yeah, there are exceptions, but they caught, and mutilated...

If you want off-strip, there is no better place in town than the RR. Best food, cleanest environment, great security, so much to do.

You are so right!!! I did a round-tripper for Spring Training, and I love the drive. The only thing I don't like is trying to get out of Phoenix. What the heck were they thinking with no direct connecting freeways to 93? Forty miles of Grand Ave?????

If you travel through the desert in March and April, that is going to happen.
