Maintenance Help
Hello,
I just bought my first Vette. Absolutely love it!!
Besides getting the oil changed, is there other maintenance I need to know about? If so how often do I do it.

What year, mileage, automatic? Did you get the owners manual? they are easily found on the internet. Good information on maintenance can be found there. Tire age? Basic fluid checks, correct tire pressure. Previous maintenance record will also decide on what should be done immediately.

One more thing in addition to the good advice already given, use a battery tender if you are not driving the car daily. The majority of issues we see here are battery related. The car is intolerant of a battery that's in less than great condition and state of charge.

You can get a record of GM maintenance from any dealer. Ask them for a copy of the GMVIS report. It's free. This will show you the maintenance performed by the dealer only. It will not show gas station oil changes. Good luck with the car.
