Are the LS6 engines in the C6 coupe vs C6 'vert different at all? Specifically, the oil / trans / diff cooling. Also, is there any difference with the transmission/diff? I know the frames on the 'vert are steel vs the aluminum Z06 frame.
Reason I ask is I am looking for a low mileage 2012-2013 Z06 to purchase and do H/C/I (if not already done). There are tons of low milage convertibles so I may consider them as well.

C4 of Year Winner (performance mods) 2019
As Ed stated, engine is LS7. The 427 Vert has the exact same drivetrain as the Z06, only difference is the steel frame vs the aluminum frame in the Z. Oil, tranny and all other coolers are present, and the 427 also gets magnetic ride which was only an option on the Z that year. It is essentially a convertible Z06 with a steel frame to handle running topless.

Sorry - that was a typo on a late night thread - I meant to say LS7. I have owned two C5 Z06's so I know the difference. I just want to make absolutely sure GM did not de-contnet any engine or transaxle goodies when offering the LS7 in the convertible (other than the steel frame). I know it's definitely rare to see a H/C/I 427 'vert.
