If you are getting that on the highway at anything in the 70-80 mph range there is something seriously wrong. Missing a couple of cylinders or plugged cats maybe.
I once changed plugs on a '80's Chevy van, it was a real bitch to get to some of those plugs so they had never been done. Turned out it had been running on 6 cylinders for who knows how long. Huge improvement in power and fuel consumption.

I will never know because I can’t keep my foot out of it. I have a friend who drives a Prius and we always rag on him because he drives like an 80year old Grand Ma. Bragging about his gas mileage, who cares. We by these cars to drive them and yes they get better mileage on the highway then most would guess, so that is good enough for me.

384.6 miles on 14.1 gallons equating to 27.3 miles per gallon. That was on a trip from the L.A. area to the S.F. Bay Area in September 2014. Light load - just me and a carry-on bag and light traffic in Southern California (left around 4AM to beat the traffic.)

It's great fun if you see several of them congregating at a car show.

I went up to a bunch of Prius owners at a car show and told them my Vette got better mileage than any of them. When they quit laughing, I challenged them to a contest where one of them could ride with me to see my instant mileage DIC message and my friend would ride with their best car to observe the same. Thinking it was going to be easy money, they agreed. Then I mentioned that I get 18 mpg at 140 mph and asked what they got at that speed. When they said, we can't go that fast, I calmly said "Well you lose by default" and we casually walked away, leaving them mumbling among themselves.

Cause it's nice to know my car gets camry mileage and I get to keep my ********* while owning it. I had a 630rwhp mustang that got maybe 9 if I was lucky. That **** gets old real quick.
