About this time of year here in Chicago I start feeling a real need to drive my Vette! By April I start to go nuts! Who else gets this? A few more years I am out of here, for somewhere warm! Add the politics and lack of $$$ and over taxation in IL, just adds to it....

I'm in Texas so no winter blues here, but we had a baby on 12/12. Haven't driven the car in about a month now.

The itch is real!

I grew up in Crystal Lake, so I feel your pain. Luckily when I lived there I had a Jeep Wrangler Sahara & my Z28, so at least in the winter I still had a fun vehicle to drive.

Default I feel ya!

I was in Burbank, IL and had an 08 that I only drove to work every other Friday and on weekends. I stored it from November to March and started it up every week to get my fill. I sold the Vette in July 2016 cause I didn’t drive it enough(roads & cold). Of course I transferred to Ft. Lauderdale FL in Jan 17 and regretted selling the Vette! I’ve since gotten a 12 Grand Sport as a DD, because it’s always Vette weather down here. No need for 2 AWD SUV’s

Same here I live in Boston MA, it really sucks because I just got my convertible less than a month ago.

I can’t wait until spring or until salt from roads is gone.

It's the Winter Blues for sure, but only 4 months more until the roads are clear and salt free. It gives one something to look forward to. Glass Half full!!!!

I live on Long Island, and we just about 14" of snow. It sucks! I went to the garage and just looked at my car. Sigh!

Same here in Cleveland! It's a double whammy for me since the GS AND my Gixxer are just sitting in the garage! Planning on leaving this Ice Box for warmer climates also!

Shoulder surgery and winter caused my vette to sit idle under the cover and on
the battery charger for 7 weeks but yesterday I broke her out for an hour cruise! Today I got the wife's SS Camaro out! Friday/Saturday we might get several inches of snow, winter suxs!!!

We had one day of winter in N. Texas last year, so only 364 days of Vette weather for us. Damn that winter time!

They got their **** together, it just doesn't involve some perceived "rich guy" that owns a Vette and works for a living. Same here in this sewer they call New York...

What helped this year is that I bought a new Chevy Colorado Z71 4X4, which has definitely helped with pleasure driving. While it is 180 degrees different from the Vette it is still fun to drive so that has softened the blow. I am just itching to slam through the gears a bit!

How right you are RobLo....IL tax base is eroding rapidly as the I have learned that 80k people have left here in 10 yrs, all with net worth of over $1M. The knuckleheads running the state and largest city here still believe the way to solve the issues is tax deeper. When the party of the left runs things the outcome is always the same......
