I understand. Many of us, myself included, speak from experience here regarding exes. Good luck. You too may have been thru this before. If not, it will get better! Please update us when you can.

Thanks. Just crazy because have been dealing with this for over a year. And finally got separation agreement signed and executed. And this was supposed to be the weekend good things started happening....and ended up being the weekend from hell. But can only get better from here....

If you want to know for sure, you can always pull the fuel pump fuse and spray some starter fluid into the TB. If it catches/starts, you know its a fuel issue. If it ran like *** right before it shut down that does point towards fueling.

Maybe Bleach....

I agree with something in the fuel. Pull the line, pump some fuel, and give it the sniff test, then test. As you said, it ran good until the bad fuel got up to the injectors.

I agree with those above to have it flat bedded to a dealer. I had a BladeSilver '10 GS. Loved the car.! Also, went thru something similar years ago. I had a new '84 Z51 C4 Black/Black. My "wife" trashed it when we separated. She knew that was the only thing that could "get" me. Unfortunately, for her there was a witness. I dropped charges, if she would sign off on alimony. She did.

Good Luck with the fix.

I'm going to go with the minority of people here. It's convenient to blame her, but you don't have any proof she did anything. It could be something as simple as the ECU getting hit with a voltage spike in the 5 months it sat on a battery tender, hooked up to a power outlet.

Read the codes. See what they say, then go from there.

As easy as it is to blame the ex, these cars are very sensitive to variations in voltage. How old is the battery ? Would your ex even know how to open the fuel door and put crap in the tank ?

Yeah, I read that and it did not sink in when I posted. I am a little PUI, so my reading comprehension is not the greatest right now.
I would still pull the codes from the ECM before going too far.

Hey, Art of the Deal.

OP, get car to a wrench ASAP.
See what has/hasn't been done first before going to war.
If she sabotaged it, you'll know.
But whether it can be pinned on her is a another story, altogether
