I have 2011 corvette grand sport with 7k miles it stays in the garage with a trickle charger. Should I replace the 6year 10 month original battery even though the dealership tested came up fine?
Beware batteries today tend to drop off without little warning due to shorted cells. One minute they will work fine and test fine an hourlater may be dead. I would consider changing especially if in hot environment. Good luck changing the battery on a GS if you have the dry sump! Great fun!
Personally, I'd replace it at your convenience. You don't get much (or any) warning when the battery fails, and then it's a big pita you could have avoided.
Even with a strap it's not that easy. It's a bit of an interference fit because you have to get it out of the opening with one cable sticking through, no place to tuck it out of the way. Helps to have another pair of hands but I did it myself. I put an Odyssey PC1200 replacement in, just a little bit smaller so it's a piece of cake.
My OE battery died as the others mentioned. Worked great one day, just a couple of solenoid clicks the next. Charged it 6 hours and got 3 clicks.
So to answer your question, do you care if it leaves you stranded? Answer NO then keep it. Answer YES then replace it.
Mine has a battery that was new in Aug. 2013, AutoZone DLG 85, it failed me once after about a year but charged up fully, now if it isn't driven in 2 weeks I trickle charge it and it tests full charge.
If I notice any weakness it will be replaced ASAP, with the same brand also.

Depends on how far you drive from home! I had a 5 year old battery that was great but I was gonna do a 4,800 mile road trip in the summer. For peace of mind I replaced it (with a Delco). Figured if the original was that good get another one.

Whats so hard. Take two vice grips, one on each terminal and pull straight up, easy peasy, especially if you have a friend. Works better than the straps.

Hello,
Replace the battery under your terms with the battery you want or risk a tow truck bill and your new battery will be whatever is available!
I just replaced my 2011 with 18,000 miles today. The batter was 36 months old and just crapped out in the garage. The battery was always on a maintainer all the time it was sitting. This was an original replacement battery, which replaced the original battery after 3years, with 8,000 miles. It looks like no matter what you do, it is difficult to get more than 3 years from the original style battery.

I bought my car new 5 years ago today and it still has the original AC/delco battery and still going strong. Maybe because the battery is actually in the car (dry sump GS) it lasts longer, who knows.
I would replace it now. The next question is...are you still on your original tires? In spite of appearing to have lots of tread left, a 7 year old set can be dangerous....
When buying a new battery, get one with the highest cold cranking amps rating that you can fit in the battery box. If, while starting, the voltage drops much below 9.5 volts, the computer is going to get foggy brained and perhaps throw a weird code or two. Teh Delco battery in our 2005 was new in 2012 when we bought the car. Might be time to change it out. In the past, I generally got 7-9 years out of Delco batteries. It's kept on a C-tek charger during the winter and they claim that they can extend battery life. We'll see as we don't generally travel all that far from home.
