I need the thinnest Floor Mats made to protect the stock carpet. My C6 had extra floor mats in it when I bought it, but they are way too thick. Those also kinda bunch up, rolling up at the front, under the pedals. Using those mats, my big feet are all aligned wrong on the pedals ...
Also just got the CorvetteCentral.com catalog, but there isn't much in the way of indicating which extra floor mats are the thinnest. The Clear Plastic mats are probably thin ... but they are not my first choice. Any suggestions?

Not sure on the thinnest, but I would suggest looking at Weathertech laser liners. They would be the just the thickness of the plastic that they use. There are some molded in channels though. I have them with size 13 feet and have no problems.

I've used WeatherTech mats in all my vehicles for years. One of the first purchases I make and have had zero issues. Very thin and do a great job protecting. Absolutely fantastic in my F150 and Yukon Denali dealing with dirt/mud and winter slush from my land.
You might consider an alternative.....these wont move, roll or bunch up EVER. Very heavy with deep gripping teeth.....I have had them in 4 cars...you cant wear them out either and look great. Look at www.cocomats.com. No personal interest....just a customer that will buy again when I get another car.
What do you mean by extra floor mats? I have the Lloyds which I think come in different thickness depending on price, but I don't have them laying on top of my other floor mats if that's what you mean. I never had an issue with them rolling up or moving.
Just a set of Floor Mats on the stock carpet. Gotta have floor mats, but the no-name ones provided by the previous owner are sub-optimal. I was considering the Weathertech Laser mats, but now I'm seriously considering the Lloyd's Protector (clear plastic) mats.
Thanks all who responded, and I think I have found the ones that will work best for my big feet.
As long as you buy floor mats that will work with the OEM post or hook points of your model year, your floor mats will stay in place, no matter the thickness of them.
So the early C6 style mats will have a plastic U type lock system that will snap down on the buttons on both rear under sides of the carpet, while later vet floor mats will have a grommet'd hole to secure to the hook instead.
Hence banking that you have the wrong year type of floor mats secure system in the car, not secured to the OEM secure point correctly, and why your floor matts are roaming isntead.
My C6 definitely has the early post type fastener, not the hooks. I went ahead and ordered the Lloyd Clear Protector mats, and from CARiD. These are affordable enough so that if I don't like them, I can try something else. Thanks!

As stated, with the early post type tabs, you want the floor mats that have the plastic tabs under the mats that that snap down and lock into the tabs. Hence make sure to order the correct year mats for your car, and they should have the correct locking system.
You can see the under mat tabs in this photo for a C7 that locks onto the post tabs to keep the mat from moving forward.
As for clear or carpet mats, would favor carpet mats, since they help deaden the sound coming through the BALSA floor pans.

The Lloyd's Clear floor mats arrived, and I really like them. These are just what I wanted, look just like this photo that Dano posted. Really high quality, not just cheap plastic mats. If I EVER start coming up with complaints about my Corvette, such as being noisy, too low to get into/out of, rough ride, too fast, too good looking, etc. (Man, people bitching about how much they hate their Corvette are all over YouTube) ... then maybe I'll get carpet.
