Congrats on a 1st Post -- well done.

Usually a first time poster asks how much does it cost and should I have the dealer do it??

Yup. I should probably change mine.

And he didn't even ask anything.

I wouldn’t do that. They are not expensive and that is the air you are breathing!

I just put the top down, and the cabin filter is a very small concern.

yes -- and Tim Allen once told me if you re-wire that Fan motor to rum Bi-Directional -- when the top is down - reverse the motor direction so it reverses the air flow thru the filter so you can get 60K miles out of her..

Can't wash the C6 cabin air filter ... it will fall apart as soon as it's soaked in water. Just replace when dirty.

I just washed the charcoal cabin air filter...it worked fine. Dried it in the sun, and voila...like new! The filter was fine and dandy.

I just discovered that Pep Boys doesn't carry the Purolator filter anymore. They used to have a good deal of ordering online and picking up in the store.

I am confused as to the difference between ACDelco Professional and OEM.
