Optima Red Top, also the CTEK 3300 I use has an AMG setting . I've had this battery in the car since 2015 and out here it says something when you get a battery that last more than two years out in this heat.

You're right. My mistake. It was a very hectic day at work that day...

Batterys (sic) are programed? I am always learning something on the Forum.

the acid battery in my 2003 z06 was leaking acid. and it was positioned above the computer and a bunch of connectors. i went in and removed everything in that area, cleaned it all, and treated all, especially the frame. then i installed an optima red top.
fast forward. purchased my 2007 z06, still wearing a support for my fractured c1 ( top disk in back ) in feb 2009 under the certified program. coverage ended and i noticed the back of the car was wet. you guessed it, battery was overflowing acid onto the back of the car. removed battery and cleaned/treated back of car and installed optima red top. 7 1/2 years and red top is still going strong.
