Default Headers

I've got the Edelbrock e-force 1593 on my 07 z51 well it's not on yet I figure why I've got the car up in the air I might as well throw some headers on. Any thoughts on best combination?

If you want the best get the LG longtubes. They are arguably the best on the market.

Bottom line, your decision to add headers is key. I have a Maggie - very similar setup to the Edelbrock. I ran it for a while without headers and exhaust and it was an amazing transformation. Now that I have headers and a full exhaust, oh my. The difference is inexplicable. The headers and exhaust add a visceral component for certain. But the Dyno doesn’t tell tales. 510 vs 548 rwhp The truth is in the numbers. And, in the seat of the pants. Get the headers and ditch the stock exhaust when you can. Go 3-inch full back like a B&B.

As for headers, just adding them will make a difference. Lots of good products out there. I’ve had LG on each of my 5 Vettes so far. If you select LG, go Pro over Street. The Streets are good, buy man the Pros are worth the money.

Hope this helps.

I agree, I'm running these with the 3 inch catless X pipe into npp mufflers with M2W switch. I just couldn't see spending thousands including tune, when these headers are a great fit, and sound terrific.

Because they're the best on the market, and well worth it.

Kooks 1 3/4 for more mid range torque and best bang for buck. Plus they include every thing you need to install.

They fit perfectly too. I installed mine with the car on jack stands.

There is a reason why some of the header manufacturers get more money for their headers than others....look at the material that the headers are made of, look at the thickness of the header flanges ( heavier flanges equal no exhaust leaks down the road ), look at the welds that are placed on the headers, how do the headers actually fit on the car? What about a warranty issue? ....You get what you pay for
