So I’ve noticed my windows don’t return to full up when I close my doors. I did a thread search on windows and got a billion unrelated threads sorry if this is a common issue discussed before.

The term is "indexing". Start your car and bring each window to the full raised position. Keep holding the switch up for 3 to 5 seconds. That should re- index them. It's in the owner's manual. That is off the top of my head.
This is a very common issue when the battery starts getting low to where you need a jump start. Get in the car and close the door. Lower the window all the way and hold the down button for 5 seconds. Lift the window all the way up and hold the up button for 5 seconds. Then repeat the process once again to confirm. That's it. Done.

Yea, that's it. It can be done in accessory mode as well. Bring the window down all the way, then up all the way, release the switch briefly, then hold the switch in the up position for about 5 seconds. Then go down and up. Open the door and the window should go down a touch. Close it and it should index to the full up position.
common with battery changes.
Several here should reread the owner's manual for resetting the indexing. Slight error in most of the instructions posted above.
Raise the window from full down and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release the up switch, then hold it up another 3 seconds. Release. Done. Probably need to do both windows.

Make sense, my Feb 2017 battery has been acting up, took it to the store and it tested good but was listed in last quarter of life, they charged it for 1 hour. Not sure why battery is drained after such a short amount of time, the car was only at the lot for about 2 weeks when I bought it (August last year) and I always shift to reverse.

Can't help you with what might be causing a battery drain, but be aware that every time the battery is disconnected, then reconnected, you will need to reset the window indexing per the above instructions.

Wondering where to go to go from here.
You got the answer, but as a new owner, I'd advise taking time to read the owner's manual cover to cover. There will likely be times you need the info and no one being here to respond quickly.
One guy died in his car, because the battery quit and he didn't know about how he could use the manual latch to get out.

Sorry for the slight error and thanks for the correction. My C6 Owner's Manual is in the car back in Mass, 1800 miles away. When I get home I am going to re-read it and commit the entire manual to memory so I can avoid providing such erroneous information
Seriously, the Owner's Manual really is the least read book in automotive history.

Amazing how reading the manual actually helps. My windows were not coming up either due to dying battery and the owners manual clearly states indexing windows when you look in the manual under....WINDOWS.
ps....I got 6 years and 20 days of my stock AC Delco battery.

Over the years, there seem to be several different processes that work, although the actual physical activities are close to the same. The main reason I mentioned the slight difference is that there may be some of those other processes that work part of the time or only on some cars, but not on others.
Many of these situations are mentioned in the DIY / FAQ sticky and links to help files are included. But an electronic copy of the owner's manual for the model year you have is invaluable.
