Roll cage or roll bar? They are not the same. If you're drag racing NHRA or IHRA an '08 or newer, a roll cage is not required at 10.00 and slower. For '07 and older, a roll bar is needed from 11.49 down to 10.00 and then a roll cage if quicker.
If you're racing any place else, you need to go by their rules. I don't believe anyone makes cages to install, since the construction usually requires welding in place. Most off-road places do cages. Roll bars can be bolted in place.
