I have ARH ceramic coated with the NPP exhaust. When the valves are open it sounds really angry

This is what I like to hear, and part of the reason I want headers. I pulled the fuse on my NPP so it's open all the time.

Well, I would sayBorla, but I’m not sure if they are now producing the LG design under their own label. If they are, that might be an issue for you (saw a bit of the other thread). I’m sorry you have such an aversion to LG, but that is certainly your right and I respect that. You appear to want performance and a “nasty” performance sound. I can tell you that just about any headers matched with Billy Boat Fusion will sound amazing. I have this system matched with LG Pros. And it is loud as all heck when you stomp the gas. When you close the valves, it’s Caddy quiet. Well, pre-bad-*** Caddy quiet.

For the full performance and effect, it doesn’t stop at the long tubes. You need the rest of the exhaust matched. Billy Boat is the absolute best. If you are thinking about going all in, opt for the BB headers and the Fusion. Guaranteed satisfaction.

Good luck Ed.

I would stay away from ARH I got them on my from a shop that is a ARH dealer a few years ago and they leak at all eight tubes at the flange where they bolt to the heads.Took over 3 years but i got my money back twice over...There are pictures on this forum somewhere that i posted a few years ago...I think HOXXOH was talking about my posts....I wanted Kooks but this shop was not a Kooks dealer.IMO: I think Kooks and Borlas are the best headers you can buy...My.02

Perhaps he was asking others in the forum, and not just you?

If the headers were leaking from all eight tubes then either you had bad gaskets are there was a major screw up when the headers were made.

The only problem I have ever had with ARH was them taking 3 months to make and ship the headers to me after I ordered. Other than that, they are well made and always fit as they should.

No, he quoted your reply as a point of reference to his question, so it would make sense.

And I answered too, but my reply is missing now. Odd. Why would a moderator delete my reply, which was

"I can only speak for myself, but in the few months that I had the ARH on my car they did not have any leaks."

Both of the pro speed shops near me in South Florida use ARH headers. I don't see any complaints about header leaks on either of their feedback pages.

Are you referring to post #5 in this thread? If so, it's still there.

It was more of a "to the crowd" kind of question. I just used your post as the example.

The activity log on this thread shows that no posts have been removed by moderators. Odd that you would suggest otherwise.

Four posters in the thread edited their own posts, including you.

For future reference, if you have questions or complaints about Forum moderation, you should address them directly with moderators via PM.

To Sox-Fan, are you sure your post wasn't in Corvette_Ed's other headers thread? Lot's of posts got deleted due to some bickering between some members and venders. Your post may have gotten mixed in and been a casualty. Here is the other thread that has been closed.

Absolutely sure it was this one. Before I posted tis morning I did check my form saver plugin, and it was there, saved. Probably nothing more than perhaps the server had a hiccup when I posted. I'm honestly not at all concerned, just thought it was odd. I'm certainly not concerned enough to make more of it than that, which is why I didn't persue it with staff at the time. They have enough going on. I've already discussed it with Savewave in private messages and I consider it a done deal and a very minor one at that.

I think we can go back to discussing exhaust leaks.

Yes, please. I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced leaks with the ARH headers. I'd also like to hear from those who've had both ARH and Kooks as to their preference, if any.
