Anyone besides me have the painted wheels on their GS?

Car looks great, but I am not a fan of the painted silver wheels.

I think they look fine. I'd much rather drive a Corvette Grand Sport with painted wheels than no Corvette at all.

Nothing wrong with those at all. Mine are chrome, because chrome gets you home.

For some reason I interpreted the thread title as a base corvette or “narrow” body’s wheel on a grand Sport and not the factory painted GS wheels. I’m sure there are a lot of people with the painted wheels. The chrome wheels were like a $2k option or some crazy number.

Anyway your our car looks great. Were you thinking of getting something different?

I was thinking of chrome Spyders but may sell the car when the C8 debuts so why put any money into it right now.

I have always been a Chrome wheels type of guy and I was not sure I was going to like the Gray painted wheels but, it was love at first sight. Love the C6 wheels.

I used to up till 2018. Didn’t want to spend an extra $6k on the 3LT or $2k on chrome wheels. The chrome wheels seem to peel once they get old. I ended up putting C7 Z06 wheels on my car and couldn’t be happier. Looks more modern and sinister now.

mine came with chrome GS. I put black Z06 spyders on it and couldn’t be happier. In my opinion the spyder wheels are he best looking C6 18”/19” combo. I also like 19”/20” cup wheels.

Default painted wheels

Beauty is in the EYE of the beholder, with that said I personally lean toward chrome or polished aluminum. The gray wheels on your Grand Sport are Killer. It maybe the fact that its a wide body too but still Killer!!

i would not have any problem with paint wheels, though if you don't like them you can have them wrap any way you want them.

I've got the same wheels as the OP on my GS, I think they are fine but I did get some negative reactions the first time I posted pics. If I ever buy another set of wheels they will be chrome spyders, I love that wheel.

I vote for new wheels! Car looks great, but I do think it would look so much better with some different wheels. Lots of OEM style and/or finishes to choose from if you want to stay with GM wheels. And also the price of new OEM wheels, from some of the wheel vendors on the forum, are very reasonably priced, if price was a concern. Especially if you keep your current tires and TPMS sensors. Just my opinion, but I would go with some chrome or black wheels. It would look great on the crystal red.

I need new tires too, going with Michelin AS3+ so thought of changing wheels while getting new tires.

That's what I did.
I had the factory chrome GS rims but always liked the C6 ZR1 rims - ever since they were first introduced in 2009. So, I changed out my original GY's to Michelin PS2 ZP's and also went with the C6 ZR1 replica rims to keep the same 18/19 inch set up.
