I need new tires too, going with Michelin AS3+ so thought of changing wheels while getting new tires.

Me too. I'm getting ready for new tires and currently have some new gloss black F14 Forgestar's sitting in boxes in the garage. I currently have the chrome wheels but I figured I would mix it up and see what all the hype is about with some black wheels. I'm not completely sold on the F14's though. I guess I have to see them in person on the car. Probably in another month as it begins to warm up here in NJ. I stayed with the 18/19 set up also, so if the new wheels don't do it for me I can take off the new tires and mount them on the stock wheels.

My first Vette had the stock comp grey wheels which I really liked with the JSB. I picked up this 13 grandsport in November and haven't decided yet what to do either gunmetal or black. I do like the chrome and don't think there tacky just want a different look. If everyone liked the same thing it would get kind of boring don't you think.
What I don't like about chrome wheels is their tendency to corrode at the tire bead, causing air leaks. The Comp Gray's look great, wish I could find them in Z-06 Spiders, but they are as rare as hen's teeth.
