Well to be fair, some years have some big changes from the previous years, 2007 to 2008 just one of them.

I put LED's in my mirror map lights but they failed to shed any light on what oil I should be using or if should be running RF's or non RF's on black or chrome wheels. I guess they're defective.

Oops, sorry wait.

I have an '07 C6 base.

I wonder if it has something to do with my Yukon being a 4x4 and the Corvette is looking at weight savings for performance?

Serious responses only.
My 2003 Yukon has a power drain only in the cold weather that I have been trying to track down. The battery will die in a day or two. Some guy on another forum posted about this device that connects between the POS battery terminal and the battery. What it does is electronically disconnects the battery at 11.9 volts. It has a remote and all I have to do is press a button on the remote and it reconnects the battery. Pretty cool.
I thoiught I would share this with all of you.
Oh, BTW, I have a 2009 Cyber Grey Mettalic Auto 3LT 36k mile Corvette with new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Did I mention that it also has Nav?

This thread has to be one of the funiest things I have seen since Impractical Jokers!
Thanks for the laughs all!

The short answer is the original posters question may be pursuant to a specific year or model and the response is telling the OP that his comment is based on his specific car which may or may not be applicable to the OP's question. Example: Asking a specific question on brakes.

I think people post the extra information because there are a lot of posts where people ask questions but then don't give enough information about their car for people to provide pertinent answers.

Also, most Corvette owners are proud of their cars and love talking about them.

While many of the responses are somewhat mean in nature I want to say this about the OP. He took the time to work through an issue for me when I had posted for help many times with either no response or information I didn't quite understand. He was extremely helpful and not only walked me through the instructions but when I still didn't get all of it correct let me send him an email file so he could see what I was missing. He corrected it and sent it back to me and all worked out thanks to his help. This is a great place to help each other and sometimes we get carried away with our responses. Try to keep it lighthearted.

It doesn't need any. I didn't make fun of anybody, direct this thread at anybody or insulted anybody. It was merely a observation and if you find issue with it stop reading or stop posting in it. Pretty simple.

Feel free to help the OP with understanding why he posted this thread, and why he has more control over his facebook page than a public forum. Start with the control issue.
