Default Zr1 extended spoiler( C7 Carbon)

Was wondering if anyone had a problem putting the 3rd brake light plug back in? Not enough room. Also the faded look on the edge 🙄

Third brake light connector was a pain in the rear for sure. I don’t have any fading though.

How did you get it in? Seems like I would have to trim it?

I left the brake light a little loose at first, plugged it in and then finished tightening I think....

Where did you get your spoiler from? Mine came from C7 Carbon, and it was absolutely perfect right out of the box. The light fit exactly as it should, and it was fully prepped for paint already.

Mine was an issue as well. I removed the rubber gasket on the connector to make it work.. I also got the bolt started, connect the wire then tighten.

That's not like them. I'd call and tell them the complaints you have. They have decent customer service from everything I've heard about them.

Well the story goes. I received it January and there was a chip in the fiberglsss and they offered to send me a new. Kept saying 7-10 days and they kept apologizing and saying another 7-10 days about 4 times so months later I said this is unacceptable and they gave me $100 off. Now I put it on and find the edge like this? My side skirts were great but they spoiler is poor quality. So idk what’s going on with them. I emailed them

Mine was perfect out of the box... but gotta send yours back. I found that mounting the spoiler first, & then plugging in the 3rd light connector from underneath through the taillight holes worked best... it may also help to file 1-2mm off from the front of the rectangular opening for the plug for that tiny extra wiggle room... just a hair to take off, don't go crazy...

. This is what I had to do also. You can always plug the light in before installing the spoiler. This goes easier with two people along as the second one is not the wife.
