Default Sync'ing the Temp

Hey guys,

I looked all through the manual - I have a 2005 - Im trying to get the temp to be the same on the left and right side - but when i move one up or down, the other doesn't. Is there a trick to get them to sync so when I move one dial up or down, the other side moves up or down to the same temp?

Thanks!

Wouldn't that all but defeat the purpose of dual zone climate control?

No way to do that. Driver's side and Passenger's side are separate. You have to dial whatever you want on each side.

2005 owner's manual, page 3-25.

Manual Operation

Driver Power/Temperature: Press the driver
temperature **** on the driver side of the climate
control panel to turn the climate control system off. This
is the only setting that completely shuts off the fan.
The digital display will show only the outside
temperature. You can still adjust the driver and the
passenger set temperature and the air intake mode
when the climate control is off.

Passenger Power/Temperature: Press the passenger
temperature **** on the passenger side of the
climate control panel to turn the passenger’s climate
control system on or off. Turn the **** to increase
or decrease the temperature for the passenger. If the
passenger’s climate control system is off, the driver’s
temperature **** will control the temperature for
the entire vehicle
.

On my 2007, if I Press the temp control **** on the passenger side and it will turn that **** off. The drivers side **** will then control all of the vent Temps.

Yup was just going to post that. See someone knew that as well. I always have the passenger side pushed off when it is just me in the car. Nice little simple feature.

I keep the passenger side off almost always. No need to encourage the passenger to mess with any settings.
