Just got quote from Costco, 1200 just for the tires, not stems or tax etc. plus if the time is right $150.00 off during their sale time. Check them first. Plus they rotate them free every 5000 miles.

Discount Tire is who I'm planning on using and they will price match, even Costco!

Rotate free would be great on a car that used the same tires on the front and back. Not so beneficial on a Corvette.

Ditto. Horrible in the dry, worse in the wet. They're practically made of concrete.

Stepping on the go pedal mid corner lightens the front end too. The more the rear hooks up (traction control?) the greater the effect.

It's extremely nauseating to me and I'm sure a great deal of others when you little goody goody cub scouts feel a need to add your unwanted judgmental 2 cents every time someone mentioning spinning a tire on a public street or exceeds a speed limit! Good **** Gertrude, we're a group of 400 to 500+ hp high performance car owner enthusiasts here, but according to you we're suppose to drive like we're all little ol ladies in Prius' or '60's VW vans! So yeah, go lay in the grass with the rest of the turds and stop crapping on other's threads!

I'm sure I know what the problem is now. I need to get more lateral inertia generated before giving it the gas. No problem getting loose going around regular corners, just the two times I tried goosing it when wet in the Round About it hasn't had the desired mini drift results.

WTF is this about ??!! This makes as much sense as screen doors in a submarine. I don't think anyone cares how many times someone in this "400 to 500+ high performance self proclaimed super drivers forum wants to spin their wheels. We don't even care if you do it in a freaking round a bout thats covered in snow. Just don't come in CF and ask why you kissed the curb ??.............

Understand the response. Just for the record, people keep mentioning "snow"...there was no snow. It was wet...he "snow"plowed.

Well touche !! i feel much better now knowing that the OP was only goosing it in "the wet" on a round a bout...LOL. Every one should know that any car handles just as well on the wet as it does on the dry.....what was I thinking.....
