I'm not Mr. Ed, but .....
Looks like a 10" wide wheel is ok for a
. 305/35 -19 tire and a 305/45 -17 tire
No-Go for a 305/30 -19

Just click the wheel diameter and then click the size tire .... it will tell you the recommended wheel width for that size tire.
IE :
. . 305/45 -17 tire takes a 9.5"-11.5 " wide wheel
. . . . . 305/35 -19 tire takes a 10"-12" wide wheel
. .. . . 305/30 -19 tire takes a 10.5-11.5" wide wheel

I pretty much agree with Turbo6TA with regard to regular passenger car tires, but drag radials are a different story. 305 drag radials will fit on a 10" rim according to the manufacturers.
