Obviously my preaching is not hitting home, I'm done trying to show you what you are missing. Beware.

As my LAST example, here's the specs for 305/19 BFG Rival, a 'high performance' AX tire:

SIZE UTQG MAX.
LOAD
MAX. INFLATION PRESSURE TREAD DEPTH TIRE WEIGHT RIM WIDTH RANGE MEAS. RIM WIDTH SECT. WIDTH TREAD WIDTH OVERALL DIAM. REVS. PER MILE COUNTRY OF
ORIGIN*
305/30ZR19
98W SL
4-Rib Tread Design
200 AA A 1,653 lbs 51 psi 7.2/32" 30 lbs 10.5-11.5" 11" 12.3" 11.1" 26.3" 792 Country of Origin "US" = UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
US

As you can see, it is NOT recommended for 10" wheel. I don't know how many examples I have to show you to understand, you clearly don't comprehend 'pinching' of a tire.

Dude tell that to your crack dealing buddy in the Honda and you obviously wouldn't recognize pinching if you tripped over it

I'm not Mr. Ed, but .....

Looks like a 10" wide wheel is ok for a .305/35 -19 tire and a 305/45 -17 tire

No-Go for a
305/30 -19

Just click the wheel diameter and then click the size tire .... it will tell you the recommended wheel width for that size tire.

IE: . . 305/45 -17 tire takes a 9.5"-11.5" wide wheel

. . . . .305/35 -19 tire takes a 10"-12" wide wheel

. .. . . 305/30 -19 tire takes a 10.5-11.5" wide wheel

.

I pretty much agree with Turbo6TA with regard to regular passenger car tires, but drag radials are a different story. 305 drag radials will fit on a 10" rim according to the manufacturers.
