Ok, so I see I missed a few replies due to work schedule. I see you have to be careful what questions you ask on here. It opens the door to remarks like “bought the wrong car” and “it’s run down”. These are not answers but opinions. These you can keep to yourself. I feel I bought the right car for me. I want to say thank you very much the all the people that did help, as to date. The correct visors are on order and I managed the make the adjustments to the pull down.
You can’t sweat the negative comments. You’ll get those on just about any subject because it’s the nature of the forum. Once you get the minor kinks worked out you’ll have a blast with it.👍
So, one guy told him his car is run down and the other said he bought the wrong car because of bad visors and a latch needs adjusting. Wow. Am I in the right forum?
Jealousy for sure its rampant here
He stole it for 11, so what if it needs a few things.
I have a 05 convertible I picked up about 4 months ago. Besides tires and air dam, I needed new sun visors. I bought them from corvette America and when I plugged them in they didn’t work. I then tried putting power right to them and they worked. Seems the connecting plug won’t match the car plug.i was wondering if anyone els had this problem. Not sure if I send them back that I’ll just get the same thing or just go ahead and splice the old plugs from the old visors. Has anyone els done this.
Don't feel too bad, I got slammed here because I am paying a shop to do the work and was unwilling or unable to change out the sway bar end links myself. Another member called me stupid for paying for something that is easier to do than programming radio presets. I just blocked him so i don't have to read that member's rude and condescending remarks.
First, thanks Charlie for the for the tip for used parts. Second, I’ve been on the forum for a long time. I just like to call out the nay sayers. In the past I have gotten a lot of great information here and I am handy with the tools. But there are times when it’s outter my comfort zone and I would pay to get the job done right. We all have different skill levels. If anyone in this forum is in my area I would gladly help them out.
