Nice! I just finished my paint correction and scratch removal with my orbital buffer yesterday. Today I am doing the polishing compound and then ceramic coating.
The AvalonKing Ceramic coating is complete. Installation was easy. The little spongy block and cloths they are provide are a pain to keep lined up, they should really just include some sponges and it would make it easier. Other than that, wiping it on was easy. I paid close attention to the overlapping to make sure that I didn't miss any spots. You then gently buff off the haze to leave behind a high gloss. I did the entire car and didn't even use half the bottle. I waited about an hour and then did a 2nd coat repeating the same process. Now I am going to leave the car parked in the garage until next weekend so the coating has plenty of time to dry and harden up. It was much more work to do the paint correction/scratch removal process. I started with a medium pad with Griot's Garage Complete Compound. I worked a long time on the back deck and the hood because they had the most scratches. After I was happy with the result I then proceeded to a fine pad with Griot's Garage Complete Polish. The result was a gorgeous shine in the entire car. The ceramic coating really made everything pop, giving me that hard candy ultra shine.
Use Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic wax on all my vehicles, easy application, great shine and seems to hold up well. I also like the LT1 emblems on your hood. Where did you get them and what kind of vehicle do they come on so I will know what kind to order. Thanks
