The correct Battery for the Corvette (base or Z06) for the Corvette according to Interstate is: 90 T5 # 1130685 The price is $99.99. I have not personally checked fit In the Z06, but it fits my 2006 base Z51 Corvette and they list it for Z06. I replaced the Delco in my '93 C4 and '86 C4 as well as my '99 FRC C5. All with serious Parasitic draws which killed Batteries over time even with Tenders used when I could.
I imagine you would have to use your old vent line since it is mounted in rear.
Hope this helps. I have used Interstate in many of my Vehicles. Costco is a good source due to their Customer Service and Food Court.

"Corvette" and the words "cheap" or "cheaper" typically don't go hand in hand. I don't look for bargains when it comes to my car. I look for quality. WalMart doesn't fall into that category.
And in my personal experience, Optima batteries are far from quality. The first Red Top I had failed before a year. The replacement was shot in 3 years. Never an issue with several Walmart Everstart batteries I have purchased and if you are a fan, Consumer Reports highly rates them. I use CR as just one of several reference points during product research. Differing viewpoint and experiences from you. I bought a Duracell AGM battery from Sam's Club when I replaced it in my Centennial last Fall. There weren't a lot of in stock choices at a decent price.

Alternatively, I've never had a problem with any Optima I've had. As I mentioned, the one I just replaced was still going strong after 4-1/2 years.
Most of these brands that folks prefer come off the same line. Just up the road a way is one of the nation's largest battery manufacturers, and they churn out a lot of the brands mentioned here. I wouldn't get too hung up on brand, especially if you are trashing it way before it fails.
You can buy the expensive one if you want the performance difference does not justify the cost in my opinion. If there is a weight savings or you have extra need power because of accessories then fine but don't waste your money because it has a red top.
I finally replaced my battery, just today, after owning my Vette for 13 years.
I replacd it with a Delco battery like the original Delco.
i drove it daily for almost 5 years and then only when the weather was good.
Granted, it was on a maintainer for the last 8 years while it wasn't being driven.
Arguing about which battery is best is akin to debating which fuel is the best. They all come from the same couple factories with various labels and stickers applied at at the finishing station.
I put an Odyssey PC1200 Battery in my GS. I have had stellar results with AGM batteries and put them in everything but that goes double for the Vette with the battery inside the passenger compartment.
My ACDelco battery (bought from Chevy dealer) lasted 4 years and 10 months. They wanted $50 labor to replace it plus the cost of the new battery. I decided to go to the local Interstate batteries dealer, and for $10 labor got the proper battery installed. I was told by the Interstate dealer that the Chevy dealer had put an under-rated replacement battery in the car. Don't know if this contributed to the fairly short life but I decided to go this route.
I bought the Walmart one for my GS since that what was in there when I bought it and it was 5 years old but getting weak. I figured it would be ok since the old one lasted 5 years.
I always thought the best place to buy a battery was a store that had locations all over the USA- somewhere that is open 7 days a week- Wal-Mart / Advance / Auto Zone-they all have warranties-A warranty isn't real good if the business is closed after5 or on Sat / Sun
