I'm looking to spruce up the interior of my C6 and was wondering what people were using such as dress up kits or upgrades to give it a more upgraded look. I know the stock interiors look cheap and too much plastic. Any recommendations or ideas (photos would be great) on where to look or any vendors who carry these types of kits. I've been looking around, but it's hard to tell from stock photos.
I got my new seat skins, center console cover, shift boot, and e-brake boot from Ridies for $650 (prices might have changed as this was 4-1/2 years ago and they no longer offer GM logos). I did the install on everything myself. These pics were taken a few days after the install. For the plastic bits and pieces I'd suggest looking at American Hydrocarbon.
Check out JF Customs on eBay. They’re out of the UK and make pre-cut leather pieces for most of the interior plastic areas. I covered the door sills, b-pillars, rear speaker trim, center console, radio bezel, interior halo & other pieces in my last GS with leather from them along with the shifter boot & e-brake boot, e-brake handle, & seat belt covers. I also have custom seat belts from www.safetyrestore.com on both the GS & now my current Z06.
You can’t go wrong with a custom steering wheel from RFE Designs, and I painted all the interior chrome/silver trim darker along with the radio bezel.
I’m in the process now of covering all the plastic inside the cabin of my Carbon Edition Z06 with alcantara to match the seats.

I love that look! How hard is it to change the boots? I haven't tried taking the interior apart yet, I don't want to get into something I can't get out of.
I'll check them as well, this skins are totally sick!

Thanks!
thanks! Changing the boots out was extremely easy, and only took a matter of minutes. Both just pop in and pop out. The only thing that took any time was waiting for the glue to dry on the e-brake boot.
Looks great. I was nervous about possibly painting the interior parts, but yours looks awesome.
Thank you, I'll look into them. I was looking for something to cover the center console, but keeping the leather. This may be a good option.
Sweet!
Prep is key. Use an adhesion promoter for plastic & I also have a $3 little “spray gun” handle that clips on top of the spray can nozzle so you spray even stokes. Surprisingly makes everything come out better
You can also mess around with vinyl wrap. It’s inexpensive and can be removed if you don’t like it. I’m in the process of changing up my door sill plates. I don’t want any chrome/silver/etc. in the interior so I’ve wrapped my sill plates ($6 for the vinyl). I’m just waiting for replacement Callaway decals to finished these up.
