Trunk button

Just bought the car with 7000 miles.2011 GS.The trunk button will not open the trunk..I can open it from inside the car,The key will work and the fob will also open the lid.Any ideas where to look.I know one 10amp fuse has been pulled to keep the exhaust open.

It could just need to be cleaned. This is a common issue with the trunk buttons. Just pull it out, clean it up really good, put it back in, and see if it will work.
