I wanna add hash stripes to my 13 GS. The guys at my local shop who wrap vehicles say they can do better than stock.
Whats the best way to get them? Mfg? Or after market?

My wrap shop did mine. 75.00. And I like them much more than stock As they don’t have the corvette flags In the corner.
And you can pick from colors your vinyl guy has. I went with a matte.

If you go aftermarket you'll save yourself over $300 and the quality will still be the same. Only difference is you won't have the Vette flag on them.
Just make sure your shop gets the measurements correct and places them in the right place. Nothing looks worse than skinny hash marks or the ones that aren't placed in the correct place. Also, they don't go all the way to the fender well. Look at a lot of pictures.

that looks great. I like the flat too. Did you wrap the halo as well?

What color are you considering?
I wonder if the measurements are available somewhere. Thats my concern, how to get the correct shape and size.
I was thinking maybe black, or a lighter grey. Thoughts?

I did have the halo and roof wrapped. And the rear spoiler.

A good vinyl shop should be able to match the exact measurements of the marks. And place them in the correct locations. Just make sure your using a good shop.

Just order a set of hash stripes for $20 from any of the numerous vendors on eBay and they will come cut to size. The last set of hash stripes I ordered for the hot young stripper wife's Challenger even came with a template printed on the overlay that made placement a snap. You can order any color vinyl you want and swap or change colors as you desire for that price. Installing the hash stripes is extremely simple and takes all of 15 minutes. Just watch a YouTube video on the "wet install" method and you will have no issues. Why anyone would pay more is beyond me as adding stripes is easier than changing a tire.
YMMV

I'd say red because you already have red interior, red calipers, red lettering of "Grand Sport". If you don't want red, I'd say either black or silver.

the quality of the eBay are trash. I’ve tried that route
rather pay a little more and have good quality vinyl and a professional install
but that’s me.

If I were going to get hash marks it would be from Vettestripes.com.

I got a very high quote for the Halo. Do you mind sharing what you paid for each wrap?

The shop that did it for me charges 400. Roof and halo. And 75.00 for my strip.
but I was going to have it redone in my new state and was quoted 300. But they are gonna do my windshield on both my cars so I got a little deal. Of 550 for everything.

Hahaha... what color is the sky in your world? There are only a couple of companies in the world that supply vinyl. Most the eBay vendors specify what they are using. You can order the eBay stripes cut from the exact same vinyl the pros and GM use.
The guy the does the graphic for our race cars (who i originally found on eBay) will even print them with the corvette flags if I asked him to.
The ones he made for the wife's white Challenger are matte black outlined with a dark grey, they look amazing, but he did charge me $35 for those because the outline was more involved.
Of course you're probably the same guy that has "the pro's" change his oil and wiper blades for him, so I get where you're coming from....
