[QUOTE=wjnjr;1602941790]Seems to be some, um, misinformation going around. All '06 - '13 C6s use the same BCI Group 90 battery. There is no different battery for dry sump cars, or automatic cars. They are all the same.
When my factory battery konked out, the dealer put in an ACDelco group size 85 battery. When that one gave up the ghost, I put in a Champion battery and again size 85 was indicated at the parts store for my '13 GS vert A6

So you got the wrong one twice. No big deal. Just because it's the wrong size doesn't mean it can't be made to fit, and it will start your car just like the correct size.
Original battery was in it's 8th year but was still strong when removed. A Ctek 3300 was always on the car when parked. Replaced with Everstart MAXX Grp 90 (T5). Perfect fit, vent tube ports on both sides.
