Default Rear hatch 2005 basic
Rear hatch won't lock motor runs but does not pull down will not lock even when I push it down. First time in forum. Help

These cars can be quite airtight. I find that sometimes I have to open a door or a window a bit to close the rear hatch properly.

It could also be the gear is worn out. I believe they are made of plastic. Damn GM.
