Someone on here has to be the cheap-azz, so it might as well be me. A $7 can of Matte Black Plastic-dip spray paint did a great job on mine. So simple a caveman could do it. Two light coats resulted in the side markers having a nice glowing night-time dot about 1.5" in width. Looks great in the dark, and virtually disappears during the day. I've had it on there for well over 2 years now, no change.
Before Vettelights offered their version, I went with Oracle... Black, Ghosted to go with the Morimoto headlights and Red Lens tail lights from Vettelights.
We have thousands of customers with our Laser LED markers installed (and thousands with oracle also) and they perform exceptionally. Dont hesitate to give us a shout if you have any questions come install or on the differences.
To get to the fronts, go in through the wheel well liner (a few screws and/or push pins away depending on model) then reach in and pop the markers right out.
For the rears, just pop out the tails (one T15 screw each) then reach in and pop the markers right out.
The only common confusion with them is that to install them, you will reuse your OEM socket (which twists out of the OEM markers) opposed to plugging them into the factory connector. Once the socket is removed, remove the bulb, then plug our Laser LED units right in.
Ghosted Oracle lights shipping from Cole on Monday. Have been holding off installing my Morimoto tails until the marker lights get here. Looking forward to getting it all done by the end of the week.
As I said earlier, I love the look of the lights. What I’m not crazy about is the fit. Cole explained that the LED strip, along with the need for air to circulate around the strip, cause the “bulge”.
Looking at older posts, some agree that the
fit is not satisfactory. Others have said the fit is nearly identical to OEM.
Take a look at my pics and tell me what you think.
in fairness, maybe I’m being too critical.

Fit looks similar to mine, though I honestly think them being white makes it stand out more. My OEM markers fit almost exactly the same as my oracles.
Certainly possible the Arctic White finish makes the light’s appearance “pop out” more from the fender/panel.
Either way, I’m fine with what I have, as I think it is an improvement over the OEM lights. In a perfect world, the Oracle lights would fit flush like the OEM lights did. In my case they don’t.
What is surprising is that Oracle, knowing the way we are with respect to our cars, would not find a way to duplicate the OEM look.

If there is a safety issue of being seen? day or night??? i.e like those motorists that blacken their head lights and tail lights??? You can't see them because they dimmed the light output.
I would go for whichever light gives off more illumination to make you more visible day and night, fits better and doesn't leak with less problems in the long run. Unless you are heavily into customization or modifications and have $$$ to burn.

Huh? Not sure I understand what you’re saying. I don’t believe there is a safety issue here. The lights are visible whether flush or bumped out.

FYI the Morimoto led tail lights are significantly brighter than OEM even in the dark smoke version, and the blacked ghosted Oracle side makers are also brighter than OEM side markers.
