Holding off on doing my seats for the time being. I would like to do a number of leather upgrades now though. Would like to match the existing red if at all possible.
I would welcome suggestions, ideas and vendor recommendations.
TIA!
If that is one of the 399 Ron Fellows editions I would think twice about upgrading/modding it. It is your car and of course you can do what please you, but it could hurt the resale value in the future.

It’s not but it does resemble it. Was recently mistaken for one at a local show.
Even if it was you can keep the original pieces, which would probably be better anyway as they will not be getting wear and tear.
I got leather pieces from a bunch of different vendors, not red, but they were all great.
DownSouth vettes, now vettecandy
Redline goods
a vendor now out of business

Cross Ridies off of the list right away. They can't match the red. You might try Vette Candy and see what they have.

10-4 on that Ed. Actually one of the reasons I’m holding off on the seats. May eventually go with OEM skins to match existing red.
Hoping I can find the right red for the other pieces I want to change.
If you have torch red that is what most places will have for red leather. I haven't found a great match for cobalt red leather yet.
I think it’s torch red. Build sheet says “int color 841 red”. Tried to find what the 841 code stands for. Not having any luck.
My interior is the two color black and red.

From what I remember, cobalt red only came on the earlier years and was switched over to torch red around 2008 or 2009 timeframe.
For the life of me I can’t figure out if my red is cobalt red or torch red. I’ve checked numerous posts going back to 2011. Scoured the web and all I come up for the red interior is “red”.
Called GM and according to the person I spoke with (honestly didn’t get a good feeling talking with him) and he said my interior is cobalt red.
Still not convinced.
I have a victory red base model, and I was able to find that in a Duplicolor plastic and vinyl paint, its a solid match. I apologize now I forget if you were looking for a diy answer or working with an upholsterer and fabric selections. But I ended up with three total shades of red inside of the cabin, and honestly it looks great, id say close enough is close enough to get a good result. But thats just me.

Looks good. In my case though, my OCD requires a perfect match! LOL!,

Took Ed’s suggestion and called Dave at Kerbeck. Left a vm.
Salesman who answered offered to help. Based on what he said it looks like the red I have is cobalt red. He said the torch red is very bright and hard to miss.
