Default NRB versus black

Does it show paint defects as bad as black?
Thinking the metallic would reflect some?

Thanks

Absolutely nothing shows flaws like Black but it doesn’t matter as long as the owner is willing to work at it. NRB is a gorgeous color and the only one I’d have if not Black.

It will show less imperfections but only just. The metallic will definitely help. But like @saplumr says, the right washing and car care techniques will preserve either color. Darker colors are definitely more work, but worth it if that's what you prefer.

NRB is an awesome color, especially in the sun, then in the late afternoon, it starts to look black. I love my NRB.

Of course you are going to get to see the car. NRB has been used on several GM cars under a different name from 2013 to 2016. I think Berlin Blue is the most common name used. The RPO code is GXH. Here is a link.

I was very cautious about buying the color. I found it on a Cadillac and actually thought the car was black. It is just outstanding in the sun. Magnificent!

Unfortunately, I never have owned any black cars so I cannot compare maintenance issues and cannot answer your question.

As an aside, Carvana listed my car as black. I saw the color code on the window sticker and knew it was NRB. I sure do like it.

Might as well post the obligatory photo. I absolutely love this color. You can see how the sun hits it on the rear, but the rest of the car looks black. Its really an awesome color.

NRB is fairly easily cared for, it is awesome because sometimes looks blue, or purple metallic or black only made in c6 in 2013 I believe and then two years in c7.
