Default Wheel sizes

I have a base C6 and want to upgrade the wheels. most of what I find will only fit a gs or z06. I found a few wheels that are 19 /20" setup, whereas I currently have the stock 18/19" setup. My question is, if I get the larger diameter wheels, will it throw ABS or traction control errors bc the wheels are now bigger? Anyone with any experience with this or should I just stick with the stock 18/19 setup?

Not sure I'd go 19/20 on a base c6, but that's just me. I wouldn't anticipate any real issue with active handling, but before you build out a set, make sure to use the tool below, and make sure your rolling diameter is as close to stock as possible. Of course, in doing that you're going to have to use lower profiles, which will greatly affect ride, especially if you go with runflats.

I have an 08 base and run z51 c7 wheels with no issue. 275/30/zr20 in the rear and 245/35/zr19 in the front. I have had 0 issues last 10k miles. I am currently trying to go back to the 18/19 setup for as much sidewall as I can for street use.

19 in front 20 in rear c6 base completely stock

Thanks for the info, guys. Maybe I'll just stick with the stock size wheels then. Appreciate the feedback.

If you like some of the GS or Z06 wheels, you can get reproduction wheels in base sizes. Check with http://www.houseofwheelsonline.com/index.php

The diameter of the wheel itself has nothing at all to do with the ABS, traction control or any of the other nannies ... It's the diameter of the tires that you put on the wheels that can have an effect if the diameter is too far from the stock tire diameter.

Right. It's the rolling circumference so to speak to watch for
