To make a long story short I was going to have the magnetic shocks replaced, they were all leaking hence the bad ride, but no one could find replacements!
I had East Coast Supercharging replace the mag shocks with Z06 shocks and install AFE Control Modules for each wheel to fool the computer. ECS is still working out the issues out with the AFE modules. Good news is I have a great ride with the Z06 shocks but........bummer.....I can't go above 80 mph until ECS works out
the problem with the AFE modules. I should have an answer this week as AFE needs to reprogram the modules for my Vette.

Did you actually try going faster than 80, or are you just reading what the DIC claims?

Find it strange that ECS does not have a tech II or just VX GM Nano with Tech2win, to go into the BCM programming to turn off real time damping to take the F55 module out of play. Hence the simulators are just resistors, and burn out in about a year.
If you check around, should be someone close to you with a Tech II clone to go into BCM set up, to de-astrics the Rear time dampering in the RPO menu, to take the F55 module out of play.

What tire did you get? The tires are the biggest contributor to rode quality so if you switch to a super stiff sidewall tire, or a shitty one in general, the mag ride may be working but it isn't a magician.
AC Delco 580-1046 and GM19302775 are described as "gas shocks" which I don't think mag ride shocks are. I am concerned that these are not correct numbers for what I need, don't see any electrical connection in the photos posted. Has anyone bought these recently?
Thanks
The part number you have is for the F55 shock and it should be correct. I have a set (F&R) I bought, but have not installed them.
The fronts are the same side-to-side, the rears have a different mounting flange for right and left.
This video shows how to change out the shocks, and shows that the wiring is un-clipped from the old shock and would be clipped onto the new shock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tJl8XQ6Dzo

I believe Jim Mero stated that the rears are the same shock and the only difference is that flange, which could be removed from your old shock. I have no personal experience, just relaying what Jim said.

If you're ever down in the DC area, hit me up as I have a Tech2 and could turn off the F55 option in the settings for you. I bought a Tech2 so that I could code the magride out for my coilovers.
Cant tell the difference in normal driving, but i find it incredibly easy to tell if you just find a little room on a straightaway and wiggle the wheel left and right. Sport is very much more responsive.
This is the latest episode with my AFE Power shock simulators.
I just want to start off with saying that AFE Power has the worst customer service that I ever have dealt with! My shock simulators were installed by a very reputable company here in NJ called East Coast Supercharging.
Just a week after they were installed they failed and ECU limited the car to 80mph with all kinds of messages popping up on my screen. Now normally when you have a defective product a good company would change them out immediately with a replacement set. No! They wanted East Coast Supercharging to take an OHM reading on my bad mag shocks which they did.
Now 5 weeks later AFE finally sent a reprogrammed set of simulators for my stock 2013 Vette. East Coast Supercharging reinstalled the so called reprogrammed simulators on my car. Now I live 50 miles from East Coast Supercharging and a 100 mile round trip for me. I had to do this trip four times for this issue and I thank ECS on the refund on my fuel usage. It should not have been ECS's problem but AFE's problem. Not one email from AFE from their customer service department apologizing to me for my inconvenience and their defective simulators!
After the reinstall I was on my way home and now a new message popped up! You are now limited to 158mph........I laughed and said I could live with that as I did not want any more aggravation!
Now 5 months later I have the 80mph on my screen. I contacted ECS and said they would try to "delete the mag ride control" thanks to videos shown to me on this forum.
