I kept busy this weekend and put the vette up on the quick jacks cleaned the wheels, calipers and the wheel wells, think they turned out pretty nice! I can honestly say anyone on the fence thinking of buying the quick jacks do it! It made this little afternoon project very easy and it was kind of fun to play with a new toy. I was also able to get under the car and realign the exhaust so that was a bonus. (tips were a little off).
Model is the BL-5000SLX no problems at all, I just use my hockey pucks that I made with the eyelet bolts and the lower block that came with the quick jacks. Line everything up and lift away!
right?! LOL. But seriously, I’m a pretty big dude and even with the car complete there is still enough room for me to roll around under the car on a creeper.

I have trucks, SUV's and my 08 C6 and wanted a lift to handle everything. To accommodate the bigger vehicles, I ordered the Quick Jack 7000 from Costco back in December when they showed up in stock. It barely works on the C6. With the QJ blocks as close together in the QJ trays, they land on about 3/4 of each jack puck on the C6. It's not ideal but it is still very stable. I really tried to rock the car and shake it but it was solid and steady... I don't have any reservations regarding safety, just need to take an extra minute to line up the QJ blocks with the C6 jack pucks perfectly when raising. The QJ 5000 would be more suited if you don't need it for larger vehicles. I haven't measured but QJ claims the 7000 lifts 27", I don't recall how they measure that exactly. But there's good room under the C6 at its first level and way more at its highest level. With a nice creeper you can roll under and work with ease. I considered a MaxJack but went with the QJ based on cost and have no regrets. Just completed transmission filter & oil change, engine oil change, splitter install and undercarriage inspection.
Glad the Quick Jacks worked out for you so well. I'm just waiting for them to go on sale at Costco so I can buy my own set.
Hey just saw your post response and I actually just received my new Quickjacks from Costco yesterday, they were on sale a week ago when i ordered them and the newer model 5000TL goes 3" higher than previous model. Just an FYI it was $1400 all in with tax and free delivery. HD has the older model on special for 1450 or 1475. Can't wait to get mine in the air this week for drivetrain work to include, new trans, new diff, clutch and torque tube due to a busted main shaft in trans. I got low mileage Z06 replacement parts from a forum member for pretty good deal.
Love mine and only regret is that I waited till 2018 when I actually got my Vette. I should have bought one long before that, even if they were a bit pricier back then. Mine came from Costco here in Canada
Countless projects, upgrades, and monthly track prep in summer for brake/wheel swaps, etc etc
Another vote for Quick Jacks. I can't believe I waited years to get some. The car is up in the air in no time at all and any job that I'm capable of doing myself, this makes it 10x easier.
