You are correct WJNJR Our laws are all about politics, and this thread is describing a new law passed in an already over regulated place.

Of the many issues facing NYS, of which there are probably innumerable, one of the greatest is that NYC dominates their state politics. So the rest of the state suffers with legislation that really should be local to only NYC. Classic case of one size not fitting all.

It's not the politicians that are causing the crime problems that we have today....it's our society that has too many kids growing up with broken families, people sending their kids to school & expecting the teacher to be their baby sitters, society glorifying lavish lifestyles without the corresponding work ethic, etc.

Looks to be mainly targeted at motorcycles. Im in NYS WNY and with both of my cars I had someone change the mufflers and tips and inspection shops nor cops dont care one bit. Maybe aimed at NYC, but cops and shops really dont give a crap there.

Elections have consequences. I left NJ years ago because of their money grubbing commie ways, NY NJ same ****. I sit in NC now LMAO, they get what they deserve. My next door neighbors in SC don't even have MV inspection. Gotta love it. Like the man said "ya kan't fix stupit".

I'm not an old guy, just somone who cares that people to be somewhat courteous to others with their exhaust choices. If you live in the middle of nowhere, then no big deal.
I don't think this bill or the enforcers are going to care much about a set a Corsa Sports. It's the header/extreme muffler setups and straight piped Harleys that are likely the issue. Honestly, I seldom hear a car with an obnoxious exhaust. It's always the Hogs.

The saddest part of our society right now is people will base their position on something based off an oversimplified lie about what it really is from a massively biased media.
