When we moved from NC 2 years ago they were already starting their spiral down the toilet.
The saddest part of our society right now is people will base their position on something based off an oversimplified lie about what it really is from a massively biased media.
I've been in the Charlotte metro area for about 11 years now, coming from NJ, and it has changed immensely. I cruise around and see a lot of places that were just untouched forest that are now apartment buildings or little cookie cutter house developments. It's everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE, and it's sad to see. I heard people call it the next Atlanta a few years ago. Glad I invested in rental houses here. I want to move to TN where my mother moved to.
There are already existing laws on the books regarding exhaust noise limits, the police simply need to enforce them. There was absolutely no need for a separate piece of legislation that is much more far reaching.
I agree with your first sentence. Unfortunately any current noise ordinances seem to be selectively enforced against vehicles, ignoring the Harleys - which are by far the worst offenders. Hopefully this new measure brings more attention to enforcing noise violations against motorcycles.
If an 89HP Harley is MUCH louder than a 430-650HP Corvette with Corsa Sports or active exhaust in sport or track mode, then there's definitely a problem.
I am ashamed to say that I live in this state. Kids are being shot in broad daylight. The criminals have more rights than the cops. People are afraid to leave their homes. What a toilet. Who would ever want to move here?
I was born and raised on Long Island, lived there for 53 years. I left 14 years ago for Georgia. Long Island was once a great place to live and grow up. I did not leave because of loud exhausts. High taxes, over crowding,
crime and crooked politicians were just some of the reasons I left.
^^^ Elections do have consequences, that's why we experienced 1/6/21...a national embarrassment
The national embracement is Biden, Harris and Pelosi. The big one was the Afghan withdrawal. I still can't believe anyone supports this administration.

I think there is less and less support for the Biden administration as time goes on ... There are even liberal democrats now that are pretty much fed up with Biden. Harris and Pelosi.

I remember as a teenager...a friend of mine had a 1969 Camaro Z28...and was ticketed here in WNY for loud exhaust...he had to show the judge it was factory equipped and no modifications...it was petty back then!
If I am reading the memo correctly the M2W would be OK as the NPP was a factory option. Now I am sure some prosecutor with nothing better to do would try to make a case otherwise................
i disagree.....all the prosecutors are busy convicting 70 year old men for no front plate and releasing felons with no bail

I agree with you about the bikes, but enforcing current laws can address that. More legislation is not the answer.
