I’ve done a few mods. For me I had to change the head unit first thing. But the best one was to add NPP to a car that was not equipped with when it was new. Billy Boat.

Toss up between Caravaggio seats and upgraded head unit with wireless AA/CP & backup camera. Both are things that get used everytime I drive the car. Of course, being that it was a modded ZR1 when I bought it, it already had everything else I wanted, but even if I'm counting all those other mods, I'd still rate the seats and head unit as the best upgrades, with the head unit probably edging out as the best.
No one best mod but my mods from best to least best:
1. E-force Supercharger
2. MGW shifter and lower box
3. New Michelin Super Sport tires
4. Interior insulation kit and insulated tunnel plate
5. Kooks headers with cats
6. Bilstein Shocks
7. Monster LT1-S clutch
8. ZR1 cam
9. DeWitts radiator
Aftermarket exhaust without question. The base exhaust on a Corvette is too quiet and the optional NPP exhaust although better, has a loud hollow motor-boat sound imho. Plus, the tips on both the base and NPP are both too small for my liking.
The Corvette needs a deep tone and rumble. I love listening to my exhaust while rowing through the gears.

Putting an A&A supercharger on my 2012 centennial edition Grandsport.......followed by the morimoto lights, tail lights, smoked led sidelights, and borla sport exhaust.
