OK so I disconnected the battery last night to clear everything. I connected the battery today and started the car..... No codes

I took the car for a short ride and no codes while I was driving, the second time I hit the brakes I felt the pedal move a little and the these came up on the DIC in this order.
Service Anti-lock brakes.
Service Active Handling System.
Service Traction System.
Here are 2 photos, 1st one is the software that I am using and the next are the fault codes (I believe) that cam up after the scan.

^If it happened randomly, its likely a GM defect. telescopic wheel locks up and pushes that column bearing out. You have to re-grease the telecoping section to fix it permanently.

It could happen if the rack is over extended too, I suppose - unlikely though.

Sounds like your TPMS on the front tires are out. Attempt to reset TPMS - but chances are the batteries are bad and need to be replaced. If you have a specific style of TPMS, you can reset without a tool (air up, get into TPMS programming mode, air down tires one at a time...). there is a weird cut-off in the C6 line where this is possible, so YMMV. Finally, if you have to replace the TPMS, be 100% sure you order the correct model year specific TPMS because of the same issue.

One more thing - have you recently installed any sort of bluetooth/wireless module in your car? My car will trip TPMS error codes if I leave my bluetooth ALPS module on. Its 100% fine with my bluetooth/wireless carplay head unit though.

I had the battery disconnected, waiting for the front TMPS to reset.

I'm going to pull the rear wheels off today and test the 2 rear wheel sensors.
Will get back with the results.

I think all the other codes (bcm no com, left/right rear) are all historical data? I could be wrong in how I'm interpreting the results though. Someone with more knowledge on that particular scanner can chime in.
I think the BCM connections are under the passenger footwell so you may want to take a look at those and give it a good wiggle to see if its seated right. I think its rare that both L and R will go out at once so I'd guess it was accidentally disconnected, has intermittent connection, the BCM is bad, or there is some damage to the wiring loom from the rear to the BCM.

So I have the rear on jack stands and the rear wheel speed sensors check out good.
The manual says they should read between 850-1350 ohms of resistance and greater than 100 MV.

driver side is 1125 on ohms and 500 milivolts with the wheels spinning at around 8 mph.
passenger side 1129 on ohms and 600 milivolts.

I need to figure out where to check next and for what? You say they go to the BCM next? I had a similar issue on my camaro and it wound up being the abs module.
by the way thank you for your help.

From what I read in the service manual If I disconnect the plug from the EBCM and have the car on jack stands with the car running in drive it should be about 8 mph. If I probe terminals A5 & A6 left rear and A7 & A8 right rear I should get the same ac voltage that I got from the rear hubs. That would tell me that the wires to the EBCM are in good working order. Does this sound right?

So nobody here can understand this and help me out?
Looks like the rear wheels go first to the abs module? then somewhere else?

No not the TPMS. I took the car to a mechanic and he agrees with the no ohms reading there is a broken wire. We will see, he will have the car for 2 weeks because he is very busy.

I'll report in and copy what I posted on another thread,

What did you do to your C6 this weekend?

________________________________________ ________________________________________ ___________________________
Did a badly needed tune-up to my '08 this past Saturday. Went to Autozone to get new spark plugs and wires. ( NGK Iridium plugs & AC Delco wires)
Took me like an hour and a half to do everything. Hardest plug to get out was passenger side rear. Some plugs were fouled up bad !
Anyways, when I started it up, no more shaking and it idled so smooth.
Also, my Service Traction Control & Service Active Handling Light have went.......bye-bye ! Yay !!

There was a Technical Service Bulletin that GM put out on a connector under the dash that would go bad, especially on cars with telescopic steering wheels. Their fix was to put a comb like shim into the back of the connector in an attempt to tighten up the connection. If my memory is correct, this caused an Active Handling system error to appear when the connector wasn't making proper contact on all the pins.

BTW, something I would consider doing if I had problems with this system would be to cut all the wires on the problem connector under the steering wheel that GM puts the "comb" in, and just solder and heat shrink all the wires together one by one. (I think there are only 6 wires) This way I would be assured I have good contact on all those wires, and I doubt I'd ever really need to remove that connector for maintenance anyway, so no big loss.

My money is on that connector being the source of your problems.

OK I got the car back today and there was a broken wire to the right rear wheel sensor. He repaired it and no more lights.

While he had it I had him replace the oil pan gasket because I had a slight oil leak. I dreaded trying to do it myself. Just figured I'd let you guys know what the final outcome was.
