I just completed a three-day detailing on my '07 Monterey Red Metallic coupe. I i did the paint correction as need and a full polish of the body and then today applied Graphene Ceramic spray. I must admit it did come out nice.

You must forgive me for sounding stupid but… What is “paint correction“. I’ve never heard the term before coming to this forum in May. And I’m thinking I might possibly want to do that with my car. Your detailing job looks amazing!

Paint correction is removing all imperfections whether it be with a machine or wet sanding, all before ceramic coating is applied.
I started with a normal wash. Then used the plastic baggy test to see if I needed to clay the surface. Not needed because it was done last year, and the car is not a daily driver. I then used Adams One Step Polish along with the One Step Pad on my buffer to do the areas that needed correction to the paint. Finished the car off with Adams White Pad and Polish. Prior to applying the ceramic spray, I wiped down the car with Adams Surface Prep. Finally, I applied the Graphene Advanced Ceramic Spray coating.
This new Advanced coating is supposed to last up to 2 years. In my case that may work as I said this is not a daily driver. Besides when you noticed that the water is not sheeting off you can add another coat.

BWF07, you did a great job on the paint correction, this requires time & effort to do the job right, iron remover and a wipe down with eraser also adds to the end results.
