my issue may have been the amount of tight i applied to the bladder, i loosened the tightness, and so far no issue has presented itself.
Found some pics of how I installed the C6 bladder in my C8 GT2s. Posting here in case anyone can benefit in the future. This has been working for 2+ years, I ran the tube through the large round hole in the second picture.

I just installed 2015 C7 Z06 Seats into my 2006 C6 Z06 using the Meloche wiring kit. Power seats, fans and telescoping steering wheel all work. I was able to put the passenger bladder under the cushion and it works perfect. Routed the hose thru the slotted hole and had to drill 2 holes for the 2X green push fit fasteners to keep it in place, so slightly different than C8 seats. But same idea.
