Corsa Sport vs BBE PRT?

Corsa Sport vs BBE PRT?
Hey All,
Doing some homework and trying to work through exhaust options. I do not want Corsa Extreme or Borla atack or that the top tier volume. It is a street car that I do HPDE events with. I legit can't hear my car when near other cars on track and have run into the limiter a few times. I am currently between the Corsa Sport and Billy Boat PRT system. Would love quiet below 3500 RPM for normal street driving and driving through the neighborhood but when I'm opening it up on track, let her sing.
Does anyone have expereince with either or a comparison between the two?

Corsa is the one you want, had the Corsa sport on my C5 with headers no cats and it was still tolerable. As long as the RPMs were below 3500. The Billy boat PRT on a similar set up grand sport was unbearable.imo

Unbearable how? Volume, drone? I'm in NC so I think cats have to stay on for inspections when I do full exhaust.

loud and drone , but I had no cats so maybe would work for you, I will always go Corsa if if I have a choice, had Corsa on my C5, GT 500 and hellcat and always just right. But what is loud to me might not be loud for you. But I vote Corsa

My GS had the PRT on it when I bought it. It sounded great but was too loud to suit me on long highway trips. And it did drone/buzz some at certain rpm/engine loads. I swapped it within 2 years for an NPP and added an NPP In a Box. Push a button for stock quiet, which is especially nice for those long highway drives.

Had PRTs on my C5Z. Nice and throaty, low drone, not ridiculously loud when I didn't want it to be. I have a Mrs. who loves a rumble, says a Corvette doesn't sound like a Corvette unless there's a rumble. I listened to both Corsa and Borla before I bought, and liked the deeper PRT's better. But eveyone is different. Buy what sounds best to you. You can't go wrong with either.

Thanks for all the replys! BBE's shop looks like its not terribly far from where I live, might need to make a field trip down to them. The car isn't really a "long road trip" car anymore. If the wife and I take it, its just for shorter drives. Longer trips means dog + wife and that puts us in a 4-door. My problem is I don't know anyone locally that has either to be able to hear in person.

Both Corsa and B&B have sound clips on their websites. And check You Tube for clips. Just don't jump into one based on opinions without hearing them. If you like a deep throaty drone, get the PRT's, if you like the more bumble bee drone, get the Corsas. Either one is good.

I have the PRT and like it. It came on the car when I bought it. It is an interesting design. It is loud all the time, deep powerful pounding idle, but does not get 'much' louder under throttle. The more throttle, the more it muffles. No drone.

So it isn't just loud at WOT, but a fair bit lounder at idle and cruise too?

Have you considered the Mild to Wild switch? I have one on my 427 and it's the perfect answer. Turn it on when I want the rumble and off when I want it nice and quiet with no drone. I very seldom turn it off though. That could be your answer and a whole lot less $$.
