Congrats on the C6!

Honestly, you may be hard pressed to find a quality option under $1,600.

I personally am a fan of Corsa - they have the best drone mitigation technology in the cabin all while sounding wicked on the outside. I run the Sport on my heads/cam C6Z and couldn't be happier.

Here's a recent C6 Xtreme axleback video but I'd also consider their Sport system, which is a little more tame:

I can hook you up with a forum discount on any of the major brands if interested and carry a lot of stock.

Feel free to ping me with any questions and/or for a quote.

- Alec

I know plenty my friend. lol.
i have probably owned and modified more cars than you have probably ever even been in. Unlike you, I speak from experience and not what 10 other nobodies on forums try to tell me.

Again, Corsa really isn’t what you guys crack it up to me. It’s decent, but it’s not the premium package they try to sell it as.
Ibuave Corsa’s without fully welded tips and I have another set of Corsa’s with broken internals that won’t line up for ****.

GO to a muffler shop and have them remove the mufflers and replace with straight pipe. Add tips of your choice or have the shop cut off the stock tips and weld to the straight pipe. My C6 had a Corsa system when I bought it and the mufflers were breaking up internally. I frequently get positive comments on the sound!

Right....and any of that was true....they have a lifetime warranty and they'd make it right....but you know plenty so you knew that...

So you picked a SINGLE comment to focus on rather than the entire post. So for the single issue you referred to, I have 1 muffler that the internal baffles are broken up. I am sure they would only replace the single muffler and not both to make a matching new set. Which due to age would be silly for me to replace 1.

I love how you constantly try to mess with me and troll me on my posts. I have been trying to be tactful on my responses, but you are working my
last nerve and I will stop being polite soon.
Guys like you like to argue on semantics rather than Data and facts. I got no time for your bullshit.

I've had a few mufflers on my three C6's. Stock, NPP, early Z06's, ZR1's and Corsa Sports. Have also used Corsa on several trucks dating back 20+ years. All rides were cammed with long tube headers sans cats. I had no issues with any of the Corsa mufflers. And perfect (to me) exhaust sound out of all of them.

The various Chevy bi-mode mufflers were OK but I didn't like the fact that they were totally quiet with flaps closed, idle was too quiet, and obnoxiously loud with them open. Don't mind loud at WOT, but they were too loud to cruise around with the flaps open. When I did heads and cam on my current C6, I added early model Z06 mufflers. Shortly thereafter, I found a set of ZR1 mufflers and swapped them out thinking I was going to get a little more sound in the quiet mode. Nope, totally quiet in the quiet mode and louder in the loud mode than the Z06 mufflers.

I found a used set of Z06/ZR1 Corsa Sports in like new condition. Picked them up local for $900. I don't have a Z car but have 3" mid pipes, so everything bolted together. I agree that $2000+ is too much to pay for a mod that doesn't make your Vette faster or make it handle better. I think that exhaust is perfect. Mean idle, slightly mean under moderate acceleration, really mean at WOT, and quiet at cruise.

Hi

Jim from Oregon

My C6 was too quiet also. I bought the SLP Loudmouth II axle back for about $900 after checking out the sound online. Put them on and loved the sound!

Unfortunately for me my wife who wears hearing aids says it's too loud! Back to stock. $600 you pay the shipping.

Regards

Jim

Changed mine out in 2015 at Corvettes at Carlisle. Borla S Type II. Really nice sound and pop.
