Drove the vette last night for only second time , had check engine light blink for a few seconds and came off while I was driving , scanned the car and got code
p0300 any feedback would be appreciated , 2006 z06 28k miles
Check to make sure all of your spark plug boots are inserted correctly onto the plug and the coil pack. It's very common for these to come loose, especially at the coil pack.
Blinking check engine light means it may damage your cats...the misfire did not occur on the next drive cycle so it will only show pending...other than plugs or wires one needs some advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose it...what part of Florida are you located ??
Broward , the light came on blinked but then turned off and didn’t come back on

I recommend DIY’ers just change plugs and wires…coil packs usually don’t go bad…if you change those 2 parts and you still have a misfire it’s best to seek out a diagnostic shop…you need specialized equipment to check all the other stuff.
Car is garage kept drove it few times on weekend but not far , I changed the plugs , should I change cylinder 1 wire or coil?
I just want to clarify, you changed the plugs after you got the check engine light? Or you changed the plugs first and then you got the check engine light?

You will need a fuel pressure gauge and a factory level scan too to perform an injector balance test or with an injector “pulser” which you can buy on Amazon…you should also check the resistance across the injector looking for 11-14 ohms…read the procedure below.
thank you!!! is there a reason why it didn't set a code ?

A clogged injector would not set a P0300…the engine computer has no way to determine that your injector is clogged…when there is no combustion the crankshaft slows down and the crankshaft position sensor sees that and sets a misfire code…if you had an issue with the injector wiring that would set a P0200 I believe.
