Has anyone in AZ heard of or used Bromley's Corvettes? It's a full mechanic/body/upholstery/restoration shop in Chandler. I'm considering using them to do the do the repairs, and possibly some other work as well if they have a good rep. They've been in business for 25 years.
I haven't used Bromley's, but I've also heard that they have a great rep.
I HAVE used Classic Gold in Tempe. They did a repair on my carbon fiber spoiler awhile back, did a great job. I also drive my 2010 ZR1 up there from Tucson for all the service it needs. They're the only ones I let touch it.
They do a lot of Corvette and classic car work. Can highly recommend.

Not being even remotely close to the area, I can't say much about either place.
What I can say is that if they've been in business for 25 years, then they must do good work and the great rep is probably well earned, otherwise they would have closed long ago.

Classic Gold did the work on my car in 2019 when I hit a boulder. They reused many of the damaged parts that the insurance company paid new for, and ended up costing me $1800 2 years later when I was having overheating issues and I found out they reused the fan control module from the destroyed fan, which was supposed to have been replaced. Their work was ****, and they will never see my car again. I'd suggest you use Coulter Cadillac for your service needs for your ZR1. They have a Corvette mechanic on staff who does excellent work.

Just got a copy of the police report from my accident. The other driver tried to lie to the cops, and said he was going straight before making a right turn. My dashcam footage showed him pull into the left turn lane, and then hitting me when he tried to turn right instead. The dashcam paid for itself on this one.
Oh, and there's this little bit that I thought had happened, but wasn't sure
Now I have what I needed to get his insurance to get off their asses and approve the repairs to my car, and a rental while it's in the shop.
What am I missing here, why are you dicking with his insurance, just turn this into your insurance and let them go after his for reimbursement. That is why you have insurance isn't it?????

Because I don't feel I should have to pay out of pocket for my deductible when it was his fault.
I understand that, but it's the principal of the matter. I wasn't at fault, so I should not be inconvenienced any more than necessary.
No worries either way, I hope you get what you need to cover yourself and your car. The lawyer costs additional money, so I personally would not use them and not mind waiting a few weeks to get the deductible back. I don't know what a lawyer costs, but my deductible is $500 for comparison.
Hiya Rux. Yes, my car was fixed. Turns out my evasion maneuvers worked to a small extent. He hit me hard enough to pit maneuver me, but the damage all buffed completely out, and no support brackets were bent. The only thing besides the quarter panel and bumper was the front bumper clip on the driver's side got popped loose, so it needed to be replaced. It needed an alignment also because of all of the sideways movement after I was hit. Now I'm in the middle of a lawsuit because of the accident, which probably won't be resolved until next year at the earliest.

Sooo, for an old guy ya still have lightening quick reflexes.
Good the cars done. Now onto you. Whipping motion like that you'll probably feel it forever.
I've hired an attorney. Now for the very, very long wait.
I was in a pretty bad accident 4 years ago while driving a company issued Toyota Tacoma and the accident blew the driver's door handle off the inside and onto the passengers floor board. I've been involved with a lawsuit for 4 years (5 in September) and still waiting on either a settlement or a court date

Yep, seems like I've still got it.
I am still feeling the impact. The first couple of weeks after the accident the doctor couldn't even touch my neck without hurting me.
